This
programme is designed to prepare students for pastoral ministry. The
course emphasises the study of the Bible, Christian Faith, history
of Christianity and world religions with their missiological implications
in the context of a pluralistic world. Practical work provides opportunities
for involvement in ministerial practice, exposure to socio-cultural
and religious situations, with a view toward integration of the total
learning experience. Admission

PDC/+2 or its equivalent (12 years of schooling)
- Pass
the entrance exam in Bible Knowledge, General Knowledge and
English

in the personal interview

- A
four year course, including a semester of orientation and six
months of field internship.

Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.)*
The B.D. degree course is designed to equip persons for essential
functions and ministries within the Church and commend their faith
in relevance to a pluralistic world. It aims at an integrative and
interdisciplinary approach among the Biblical, theological, historical
and religious fields, with involvement in practical aspects of life
and ministry in the regional, social and cultural contexts of the
sub-continent. It also ensures adequate foundation in the discipline
of linguistics for the study of original texts, and provides hermeneutic
tools and skills for understanding and interpreting the context of
ministry.

B.A./ B.Sc./B.Com or equivalent university degree

- B.Th.
with second class from an accredited/affiliated college with
a minimum of one year's ministry experience
- Pass
the entrance exam in Bible Knowledge, General Knowledge and

Master of Theology (M.Th.)*
This programme is designed primarily to train and promote academic
scholarship in order to prepare and provide qualified teachers for
the theological institutions, as well as to meet the emerging demands
of various ministries of the Church at large for the 21st century.
As a post-graduate level programme, it requires the student to develop
research methods for analysing and evaluating issues within their
own context.
